You will need the following:
- Mat
- For some floor exercises and stretching
- The thicker the better
- Make sure it is the length or almost the length of your body
- Dumbbells
- 2 sets
- If you are a beginner, you will need 1 set of 5 pound dumbbells and 1 set of 8 pound dumbbells.
- If you have experience with dumbbells you will need 1 set of 8 pound dumbbells and one set or 10 pound dumbbells.
- If you are advanced in strength training, bring 2 sets of weights you are accustomed to using. Make sure one set is at least 5 pounds lighter than the other.
- Stability Ball--(aka a balance or Swiss ball) The size of the ball you need is determined by your height. Please refer to the below measurements.
- Under 4'6" 30 cm ball (12 inches)
- 4'6" --5'0" : 45 cm ball (18 inches)
- 5'1"--5'7" 55 cm ball (22 inches) Note: If you weight is over 190 pounds, please get the 65 cm ball.
- 5'8"--6'2" 65 cm ball (26 inches)
- Over 6'2" 75 cm ball (30 inches)
- You can usually go by the cm alone, but sometimes the labeling might refer to the inches instead, thus I have included both just in case.
You can find all of these products at your local Walmart, Target, K-Mart, Sears etc. The total cost for everything should be around $30 or less!!
Please bring all the equipment on the first day of Camp. Additionally, you have the option of leaving your work-out equipment at the FAN CAMP in our storage space.
Make sure you bring plenty of water and a towel as you will need them!!
